Check out the new movie trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, scheduled to hit theaters on July 3. Will you go see the revamped web crawler in action. The cast includes Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Denis Leary (Captain Stacy), Martin Sheen (Ben Parker) and Sally Field (May Parker).
Will you see Marc Webb and James Vanderbilt’s revamped version of the web crawler series?
Check out “Think Like A Man,” a new single featuring Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo and Rick Ross. It’s a title track from the movie soundtrack of the same name. The movie is theatrical showcase for comedian Steve Harvey’s book, “Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.” It’s pretty good. The cast includes hot Michael Ealy, sexy Gabrielle Union, comical Kevin Hart and the beautiful Taraji P. Henson.
Think Like A Man will hit theaters on April 20, 2012. Until then, listen to this new joint and tell me what you think.

Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean
Check out this new movie trailer. It paints a different picture of Hollywood icon and actor James Dean, played by James Preston. The movie captures the period of time when James Dean starred in two of his biggest movies, “Rebel Without a Cause” and “Giant.”
We’re not sure how much creative license Matthew Mishory, the producer, took with this movie, but it explores the legendary actor’s sexuality, which I’m sure will stir up a little controversy. Maybe that’s why the movie still doesn’t have a release date or distributor.
The Avengers: New Movie Trailer
The hype for Marvel’s The Avengers movie has already kicked into high gear. OK, somewhat. A brand-spankin’ new trailer was released today, and it’s deliciously poppin’. The short clip offers fans and fanatics a glimpse of the super team in action. It’s definitely at the top of my list for must-see movies next year. The Avengers hits movie theaters in May 2012.
Battleship Movie Trailer
I’m was saddened when I heard Hollywood was making yet another movie based on a toy or game. You’ll be shocked to know that the cast will include Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson and yes, Rihanna. The only reason I’m slightly interested in seeing this movie is to see True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard (Eric Northman), who apparently plays an integral role in the sci-fi flick.
Overall, it looks interesting, but when is old Tinseltown going to tap into original ideas, scripts and or screenplays?!
Universal released new photos from the movie, Snow White & The Huntsman, at Comic-Con on Saturday. The images are of Kristin Stewart as Snow White; Charlize Theron as the evil queen, who tries to destroy Snow White; Chris Hemsworth plays the huntsman, who teaches Snow White the art of war; and Sam Claflin plays the prince, long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty.
Looking for more storybook tales? Check out the new ABC TV show, Once Upon A Time, from the creators of Lost.
Here’s a sneak peek at the Rise of the Planet of the Apes movie scheduled to hit theaters August 5, 2011. Following the typical creative process of late, Hollywood is breathing life into the 1974 TV show by creating a movie that tells the story of how the apes came to rule the planet. Actor James Franco heads the cast that will re-introduce the classic to a new generation to the moviegoers.
I’m bummed that I won’t get to see the rugged Mark Wahlberg in this movie. In case you didn’t know, he starred in the first movie remake, Planet of the Apes, in 2001, but I have good feeling this movie will be better…at least I hope.
Marvel Comics’ superhero Thor hammered his way to the top of the box office to make $65.7 million on its opening weekend, above Fast Five, the former number one movie. Thor kicked ass and took names. Chris Hemsworth did an excellent job portraying the overzealous, arrogant Norse god of Thunder, who learns a tough lesson in humility after being banned from Asgard, his home planet.
Prior to the million-dollar success of Thor, director Josh Whedon started production of The Avengers, the much anticipated multi-Marvel movie scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2012. Chris reprises his role and joins a star-studded cast, including Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Robert Downey, Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner) and Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury). Don’t be surprised, but the original Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno will lend his voice to reprise his infamous TV role.
And OK, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Chris’, I mean Thor’s, perfect pecs and chiseled abs. I don’t think I’d complain if Chris’ half-naked scene were in a continuous loop for the entire hour and 54 minutes. Of course, I’m sure the comic-book nerds would have stoned me to death. Chris is one hot Aussie who deliciously pops on screen. And um Ms. Portman, you are one lucky actress!
Before I let you go, there’s one more thing that some people won’t realize, but hot actor Idris Elba stars in the movie as Heimdall, the Guardian of the Worlds on Asgard. And what’s a good movie without controversy? White supremacist group, The Council of Conservative Citizens, vowed to boycott the movie because the acting role of a Norse god would be given to a man of color. Well, apparently their boycott had little effect on box office sales this past weekend. Better luck next time (good ole) boys!
Anyway, Idris plays an important part in the movie, but I won’t say anything else. OK, except that I honestly got lost in his mesmerizing eyes. They make the most stoic virgin want to drop trough. See the attached photo, but don’t stare too long. You’ve been warned!
So after all those glowing comments, my advice to you is to run, don’t walk, but run to see this movie now! It’s a great Sunday afternoon movie if you need a good escape. Surprisingly it has a few unexpected funny moments. And if you don’t listen to anything I say, heed my advice now. Make sure you bring something to pass the time while the credits roll. I won’t spill the proverbial beans, but there’s a surprise at the very end. Wait for it!
