PREVIEW: Bravo’s Controversial New Show Shahs of Sunset
Shahs of Sunset is a new Bravo TV show about a group of Persian friends and families that live in LA. Are you ready for this? I’m was curious to know what other Iranians thought about this show, and boy did I find a “lively” video clip from one Iranian man who was not happy about this new reality series.
OK, I have to admit that Reza Farahan —a 38-year-old, openly gay man who is a prominent player in the LA real estate world— is kinda hot. Um, and so is Mike Shouhed. So those are two reasons why I’m curious to check out at least the first episode of the show, scheduled to premiere on Sunday, March 11, at 10|9c.
Check out the preview and tell me what you think. What’s more interesting… a group of friends who continue to follow traditional Iranian customs in the US or a group of Iranians living in the US who have assimilated into Western culture? You be the judge.
I don’t know how Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen managed this hot mess aka Real Housewives of New York Reunion. I agree…OMG! Shut up!
