Tamar Braxton - Love and War

Tamar & Vince, the popular WE TV Show that follows the life and marriage of the youngest Braxton and her music mogul husband has ended for the season, but we have new music from Tamar Braxton to hold us over … well, until a full album is released.

The budding diva, Toni Braxton’s youngest sister, dropped her new single, “Love and War,” last week and it appears that she has a hit! The single has been battling it out with Alicia Keys single, “Girl on Fire,” as the top song downloaded on iTunes R&B singles chart. And it deserves to be at the top. This track has meaningful, metaphorical lyrics that rock and a heartfelt and soulful delivery, forging a unique, but clear path for her as a solo artist and outside of her big sister’s spotlight.

Her second single, Hot Sugar, is also available on YouTube if you want to her it. It’s a gritty track and departure from her ballad, but it showcases her diverse music taste and what fans could expect to hear on her long-awaited solo album. No word on when that’s expected to drop yet.
