Mike Ruiz’s Pretty Masculine Professional photographer and my favorite A-Lister, Mike Ruiz, will launch his new book, “Pretty Masculine,” on Wednesday, Oct. 12. According to Mike, the book is a compilation of photography that “blurs the lines of what is traditionally accepted aspects of feminine beauty — in contrast to which  is recognized as being inherently masculine.” Yeah, I’m not sure what that means, but I’ve always loved his work and the photos I’ve seen so far are off the chain hot! More importantly, sales of his new book will help benefit the non-profit group, Gay Men’s Health Crisis.  Eager fans in NYC, can see Mike in person at the official book launch party at the Red Bull Space (40 Thompson Street), on Oct. 12, from 7-10pm. DJ Justin Dawson will on site to spin some music during the event. So support Mike Ruiz and “Pretty Masculine” for a good cause, the GMHC!
